Do you have a unique skill not listed above? Come show us what you have to offer! We are looking for talented performers who want to help create fun, entertaining, and memorable experiences for our guests!
The festival runs Saturdays, Sundays & Memorial Day Monday, April 14 thru June 3, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m and Thursday, April 26 from 9:00 am – 2:30pm (Student Day)
We are looking for males (16 - 50s) and females (16 – 50s).
Actors should prepare one comic monologue, classical or contemporary, and be prepared to do some improvisation. European accent a plus (English/Irish/German/etc.
Musicians should prepare 1-2 songs of varying style/tempo.
Soloists, groups, vocalists, and instrumentalists are all encouraged to come audition!
Performers with other unique skills (magic, juggling, etc.) should come prepared to demonstrate their skill.
Audition time is 1–3 minutes.
Open call auditions will be held on Saturday, January 28th from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm and Sunday, January 29th from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
Auditions by appointment will be available from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Sunday ONLY.
Callbacks will be Monday evening, January 30th from 7 - 10 pm.
All auditions will be held in the Smyrna Community Center, 200 Village Green Circle, in Smyrna.
What if you’re not an actor but have a fantastic court costume and would like to participate as a volunteer? We would be happy to have you as a volunteer on their Majesties' Royal Court! Volunteer court members must provide their own costuming that meets management approval. Come out to auditions in your finery and show us that you have what it takes to be a jewel in the crown of our illustrious King and Queen. If you are unable to wear/bring your court costume to auditions, please contact the entertainment director to submit a photo resume for consideration.
