What is a Renaissance Festival?
Our multi-acre kingdom is a re-creation of a 16th-Century European Country Faire where you can shop, eat and revel with a cast of nearly 1,000 colorfully costumed characters . Ten stages of music and comedy shows are set against a permanent backdrop of Tudor homes and enchanting cottages! Cheer your champion knight at the Royal Equestrian Joust Arena. Feast like a King on the hearty food and drink of the period, shop for fine handcrafted treasures and watch demonstrations of the time-honored arts of weaving, coin minting, spinning, sculpting, glass blowing, and leather crafting and enjoy games and rides for all ages.

The Festival is open Saturdays and Sundays plus Memorial Day, from April 13 thru June 2, 2013. Hours: 10:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

What is the admission cost?
Adults $19.95, Senior Tickets (60 ) $17.95, Child Tickets (6-12) $8.95 Children 5 and under are free. All ticket prices include tax.
Is there a charge for parking?
Parking is FREE!
What is included with the admission price?
Free parking, all entertainment shows including the Jousting Tournaments and the FREE children's Play Kingdom and Petting Zoo. You may choose to purchase souvenirs, arts and crafts, food, beverages or games and rides.
Can we bring food or drink into the Festival?
Due to health and safety issues, bringing food or drink inside the park is prohibited.
Can we re-enter the Festival later the same day?
If you need to leave the park and re-enter the same day, have your hand stamped at the Exit Gate.
Is the Festival handicapped accessible?
The Festival is an outdoor event, held in a natural setting. Wheelchairs and motorized wheelchairs are welcome. Pathways vary from grass and dirt to some gravel. We have a concrete path in areas with a steeper incline. Handicapped parking and handicapped-sized toilets are available.
Do you rent wheelchairs or wagons?
Yes, wagons and wheelchairs will be available for rent outside our front gate at the Belrose Shop.
Can we bring our pet to the Festival?
Due to the many performing animals in the Festival, no pets are allowed in the park except on our designated Pet Friendly Weekend.
What type of clothing should we wear to the Festival?
This is an outdoor event, so you should dress casually with comfortable walking shoes. Shirts and shoes are required. We reserve the right to refuse park entry to anyone not properly dressed or with dress that may be offensive to other guests.
Can we wear costumes?
We love to see our guests dressed in Renaissance costumes and costumes are available for rental outside our front gate at the Belrose Shop. However, we reserve the right to refuse park entry to anyone not properly attired or with dress that may be offensive to other guests. Shirts and Shoes are required
Weapons Policy
The Festival bans guns of any type on our premises. If your costume includes a sword, or dagger they must be properly sheathed and peace-tied. Present yourself to the Security Person at our Front Gate. No broadaxes, claymores, maces, halberds, pikes or spears are allowed on Festival site. Arrows with tips are not allowed. Drawing of any type of weapons at any time is NOT allowed.
What happens if it rains?
We are open rain or shine. It is extremely rare that we close on a Festival day.
Is there an ATM?
Yes, we have 3 ATMs. One is located inside the Festival Front Gate and the 2nd ATM is located next to the First Aid Building and the 3rd is located next to our King's Food Court.
How can I get involved with the Festival?
The Festival hires many local people to become cast members, actors, and musicians. We have auditions for actors and musicians in January and cast member applications are taken in March. You can find out the exact dates and times by going to the employment page.
