Open to traditional longbow and recurve archers aged 13 and above, the tournament follows NASP scoring standards across three distances. Only one tournament is held per festival day — claim your place at vetting before 1:00 PM.
🎫 Admission Ticket Required
All participants must hold a valid festival admission ticket. If accepted at vetting and competing, staff will record your email and refund the ticket price.

How It Works
Scoring & Format
✥
DISTANCE 1
20
yards
2 arrows scored
DISTANCE 2
15
yards
2 arrows scored · also practice round
DISTANCE 3
10
yards
2 arrows scored
The Format
Archers shoot on a standard NASP 80cm target. Each competitor fires one practice round of 2 arrows at 15 yards, then one scoring round of 2 arrows at each of the three distances — 6 arrows total counted toward your score.
Arrows touching a higher scoring ring are awarded the higher score. Archers score as a group; no one may touch arrows before scoring is complete. The field judge's ruling is final on any disputed arrow.
Tiebreakers
In the event of a tie, those archers participate in an elimination round: 2 arrows each at 20 yards. Should a tie persist, the archer with the arrow closest to center wins the match.
🏆 Prizes Awarded
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers receive Fall Fling Comp Tickets and additional prizes befitting their honor.

Equipment Entry & Carry Policy
✥
OPTION 1
Leave Equipment in Vehicle

OPTION 2
Carry Within Festival Grounds
Equipment may be carried throughout the festival under these conditions:
⟡ Bow must be unstrung
⟡ Arrow points must be taped
⟡ Arrows must be securely bundled
⟡ All equipment is subject to inspection at the front gate
