The Georgia Renaissance Festival is located in Fairburn, Georgia, approximately 30 minutes south of downtown Atlanta and just off I-85. General guest parking is free.

Getting to the Georgia Renaissance Festival
GARF is approximately 8 miles south of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. From I-85, use Exit 61 — Fairburn / Peachtree City, then travel west on Virlyn B. Smith Road / Highway 74 approximately 2 miles. The Festival entrance will be on the right.
Arrival tip
As you approach the Festival, follow GARF signs, traffic officers, and onsite staff. Temporary Festival traffic patterns may take priority over navigation apps on busy operating days.
Free General Parking
General guest parking is free. Enter through the main guest entrance at 6905 Virlyn B. Smith Rd. and follow onsite signs and parking staff to the appropriate lot.
Parking areas are outdoors and primarily on natural surfaces. Conditions may vary with weather.

Applies to every Festival
Parking opens approximately 90 minutes before gates. Opening ceremonies or pre-opening entertainment may begin approximately 15 minutes before the published opening time on select operating days.
VIP Parking
VIP Parking may be available as a limited advance-purchase add-on for select Festival dates. VIP Parking does not include Festival admission.
Guests with VIP Parking should enter through the same main guest entrance and follow VIP signage and staff directions.

Accessible parking is available through the main guest entrance. Display a valid accessible parking placard or license plate and follow ADA parking signage and staff directions upon arrival.

Bus and charter parking is available. Enter through the main guest entrance and follow onsite staff directions upon arrival.

Overnight Parking
Overnight guest parking is not permitted.

Same-Day Re-Entry
Guests may leave the Festival and return on the same operating day. If you plan to re-enter, have your hand stamped at the Exit Gate before leaving.
Traffic & Arrival Tips
Festival traffic is typically heaviest around opening and closing times. Allow additional travel time on busy operating days and follow onsite traffic officers and GARF staff as you approach the property.
