Official Tickets
The official website of the Georgia Renaissance Festival is GARenFest.com.
Tickets should be purchased only through the official Georgia Renaissance Festival ticketing system linked from our website.
Tickets are sold online only. There are no ticket sales at the gate.
Tickets purchased through unauthorized resale sites, social media, individuals, or other third parties are not guaranteed to be valid. The Georgia Renaissance Festival does not authorize third-party ticket resale and is not responsible for tickets purchased from unauthorized sources.
All Sales Final
All sales are final.
Tickets, passes, add-ons, upgrades, and premium experiences are non-refundable except where required by law or when the Georgia Renaissance Festival cancels an operating day and expressly provides a refund option.
Eligible Date-Specific Admission tickets may be exchanged only under the Ticket Exchange Policy below.
Changes to performers, entertainment, attractions, vendors, schedules, weather, or individual experiences do not constitute cancellation of the Festival and do not qualify for a refund when the Festival remains open.
Ticket Exchanges
Only eligible Date-Specific Admission tickets may be exchanged.
Only one exchange is permitted per order.
The exchange must be requested at least 7 days before the original ticket date, and the new date selected must also be at least 7 days away at the time of the exchange.
Exchanges are subject to availability and cannot be made into a sold-out date.
A $3 exchange fee per ticket applies.
If the new date is more expensive, the purchaser must pay the difference.
If the new date is less expensive, no refund or credit will be issued for the difference.
Any Day Admission, Season Passes, VIP Parking, Pub Crawls, Royal Joust Seating, and all other add-ons, upgrades, premium experiences, or separately ticketed extras are not eligible for exchange.

Ticket Delivery & Barcodes
Tickets are delivered electronically. Physical tickets are not mailed unless specifically stated for a particular product.
Guests may present their ticket on a mobile device or bring a printed copy for scanning.
Each ticket barcode is valid for one admission only.
Guests are responsible for protecting their tickets and QR codes.
If multiple copies of the same ticket are presented, the first valid scan will be accepted and later copies will be denied.
Tickets that have already been scanned, refunded, cancelled, altered, duplicated, or otherwise invalidated will not be accepted.
Ticket Dates & Separate Events
Tickets are valid only for the event, date, ticket category, and experience shown on the ticket.
Spring Festival, Fall Fling, GARF After Dark, and other separately ticketed events are separate admissions unless a ticket or package specifically states otherwise.
Guests are responsible for confirming the correct event and date before completing their purchase.
Unauthorized Resale & Fraud
Tickets obtained through fraud, unauthorized resale, stolen payment information, duplication, alteration, improper chargeback, or other unauthorized means may be cancelled or voided.
The Festival may deny admission when a ticket cannot be verified as valid.
The Georgia Renaissance Festival is not responsible for losses resulting from tickets purchased through unauthorized third parties.
Add-Ons & Reserved Experiences
Add-Ons & Premium Experiences
Parking, reserved seating, VIP experiences, Pub Crawls, tastings, upgrades, and other add-ons do not include Festival admission unless expressly stated.
A valid admission ticket for the same event date is also required.
Add-ons and premium experiences are date-specific, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
They may also have separate age requirements, check-in procedures, arrival times, or capacity limits.
Royal Joust Seating & Timed Experiences
Guests with Royal Joust Seating must arrive at the designated seating or check-in location at least 10 minutes before the scheduled performance time.
Guests arriving fewer than 10 minutes before the scheduled start time may forfeit their reserved seating without refund.
Other timed experiences may have their own arrival or check-in requirements listed at the time of purchase.
Arrive at least 10 minutes before showtime or your seat may be released.
Entry, Conduct & Access
Admission
A valid, unused ticket permits admission to the event and date shown on the ticket, subject to these Terms, Festival policies, safety requirements, and applicable law.
The Georgia Renaissance Festival may refuse admission or remove a guest without refund for:
- presenting an invalid, fraudulent, duplicated, altered, or previously used ticket;
- unsafe, threatening, abusive, disruptive, or illegal behavior;
- violation of Festival rules or posted policies; or
- refusal to comply with reasonable safety or security instructions.
Admission procedures may be temporarily delayed or modified when necessary for safety or emergency operations.
Re-Entry
Same-day re-entry is permitted.
Guests leaving the Festival who plan to return must have their hand stamped at the Exit Gate before leaving.
Leaving for a while? Get your hand stamped before you exit.
Children & Age-Restricted Events
Guests must have the appropriate ticket for their age and event.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult.
Events or experiences designated 21+, including GARF After Dark, require a valid government-issued photo ID.
Admission may be denied if age cannot be verified.
Individual attractions or experiences may have additional age or participation requirements.
Guest Conduct & Security
Guests are expected to behave safely and respectfully.
The Festival may refuse admission or remove any person engaging in unsafe, illegal, threatening, abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior.
Removal for violation of Festival rules does not qualify for a refund.
Bags, costumes, props, and personal belongings may be subject to inspection in accordance with applicable law.
Outside alcohol, illegal substances, and prohibited weapons are not permitted.
Costumes, Props & Weapons
Costumes are welcome and encouraged.
Costume weapons and props must comply with current Festival safety requirements.
Festival staff may inspect any prop or costume item and may prohibit any item determined to present a safety risk.
Guests are responsible for reviewing current prohibited-item and weapons policies before attending.

Accessibility & Service Animals
The Georgia Renaissance Festival welcomes guests with disabilities and ADA-defined service animals in accordance with applicable law.

At the Festival
Entertainment & Schedule Changes
Festival programming is subject to change without notice.
Performers, entertainment, jousts, attractions, demonstrations, vendors, stage locations, schedules, food offerings, and other activities may be changed, delayed, relocated, substituted, or cancelled because of weather, illness, safety considerations, operational needs, or other circumstances.
The appearance of any specific performer, entertainer, vendor, attraction, or scheduled activity is not guaranteed.
Changes to individual programming do not constitute cancellation of the Festival and do not qualify for a refund when the Festival remains open.
Weather
The Georgia Renaissance Festival is primarily an outdoor event and operates in changing weather conditions.
Rain, wind, heat, cold, lightning, or other conditions may affect performances, attractions, schedules, or operating areas.
The Festival may delay, relocate, modify, suspend, or cancel individual activities when necessary for the safety of guests, employees, performers, participants, or animals.
If the Festival remains open, weather-related changes do not qualify for a refund.
If the Georgia Renaissance Festival cancels an entire operating day, affected ticket holders will receive instructions regarding available refund, exchange, or alternate admission options.
Personal Property
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.
The Georgia Renaissance Festival is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal property except as required by law.
Assumption of Risk
Attendance at a large outdoor festival involves ordinary and inherent risks.
Festival grounds may include crowds, animals, equestrian activities, live entertainment, rides, games, demonstrations, fire or special effects, temporary structures, uneven terrain, changing weather, and other activities associated with a large public event.
By entering the Festival, guests voluntarily accept the ordinary and inherent risks associated with attendance and agree to exercise reasonable care for themselves and for minors under their supervision.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive any right or responsibility that cannot legally be waived.

Event-Specific Terms
Certain events, tickets, promotions, packages, add-ons, and premium experiences may include additional terms disclosed on the applicable ticket page or during checkout.
Those event-specific terms supplement these general Ticket Terms & Conditions.
If a specific ticket product contains a term that differs from these general Terms, the more specific term applicable to that product will control.
Festival Policies
Admission is also subject to current Festival policies and reasonable onsite rules regarding safety, security, prohibited items, alcohol, smoking, costumes, weapons, service animals, accessibility, parking, photography, and other operational matters.

Changes to These Terms
The Georgia Renaissance Festival may update these Ticket Terms & Conditions from time to time.
