Campground Rules & Regulations

If you stay overnight on Georgia Renaissance Festival property, these are the additional rules that apply to you.

Last updated September 2026 What changed?

The Participant Rules still apply while you are camping. This page covers the rules specific to living and staying in the campground or another approved overnight location.

Camping is available for Festival participants who live more than 75 miles from the Festival site and is tied to active Festival participation.

The campground opens one week before the first Festival day and closes one week after the final Festival day. Exact seasonal check-in and move-out dates and hours will be published each season.

Before you camp

Every person staying overnight must be registered and credentialed, including children.

Camping is not an alternate way to enter the Festival. Participant access is for people who are working or otherwise authorized to be on site.
